The Therapist

My name is Heidi and I am a graduate of the University of Central Florida where my work focused on Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy with an emphasis on treating trauma in both victims and perpetrators.

As a former educator I was granted the opportunity to work with adolescents who were working through literacy and emotional challenges. My experience as a therapist has led me to work with adolescents, adults, and couples that are navigating varying difficulties, including mood disorders, anxiety, and self-doubt.

My approach to therapy combines creativity, intuition, authenticity, and humor. One of the guiding principles to my practice as a therapist is that everyone has a story, and that those stories deserves to be heard.
